Testing Unity 8 Desktop
(
Users
)
The Unity 8 Desktop has been under development for some time now and is slated to take the place of Unity 7 in the future. In order to get there we need to get more rigorous about testing and enabling greater use of the desktop.
Currently a special image exists as a means of previewing, but it is sometimes broken. Let's talk about:
-- How we as a community can support the unity 8 desktop
-- What automated solutions can be put in place to track progress and quality
-- How we can increase it's usage and provide feedback and bugs to the development team.

HOWTO to use your skills and experience to find a job?
(
Users
)
Finding a job these days and being jobless is really hard. I can understand that as I am right there. If you are a contributor to Ubuntu or any of its official flavour or any other similar projects, how could you use your skills and experienced you gained from your involvement to find the job you seek?

Adobe Flash on Firefox/Linux EOL
(
Users
)
Adobe Flash in Firefox on Linux is going to go EOL in 2017[1].
I see three (not mutually exclusive) possiblities:
* We default to Chromium (or compatible Ubuntu browser) and get deal to distribute PPAPI Flash
* We get Flash to be irrelevant by them
* We default to a compatible Flash alternative (Shumway, Gnash, Lightspark)
Please bring ideas on how to help the above..

StartUbuntu next step
(
Users
)
Since we have started StartUbuntu Project, we have reached out to so many Microsoft Windows XP users around the world. We have done our best to convert/migrate people to GNU/Linux whether in real life or over the internet. We have done so many amazing things like writing articles, etc. However, we were limited and targeting only Windows XP Users. It is time now to target all the available supported version and those who still using Windows XP.
